Project Manager (Residential)
Responsibilities
- Team leadership and coordination of multiple major local and international high-end residential projects (both renovations and new construction)
- Work directly with Principals in achieving ongoing client satisfaction, project profitability and overall success of project
- Oversee all aspects of project progress and delivery, including fee, scope, budget, schedule, design direction, documentation and constructability
- Manage entire project team (including client, staff, consultants, contractors and vendors), developing work plan, facilitating communication and functioning as main project point of contact
- Contribute to advancing the firm's project management tools and procedures
- Coach and mentor staff
- Participate in marketing and business development
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
- 7+ years of experience in an architectural office working on all project phases
- Prior project management and residential design experience
- Strong leadership, organizational and collaborative skills and the ability to effectively manage workflow
- Good design, technical and business sense with the ability to handle negotiations and conflict resolution
- Working knowledge of CAD and typical office software
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work on a number of projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to manage junior/intermediate staff
- Registered architect preferred, LEED-AP a plus

Freelance Intermediate Environmental Graphic Designer
Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership, a leading multi-disciplinary architectural and design practice, is seeking a freelance intermediate level Environmental/Exhibition Graphic Designer for an in-house, fulltime four month period staring immediately.
Responsibilities
- Work and collaborate with a highly creative team to assist in the design of graphic programs for museums and museum exhibition graphics, identity programs, collateral, and wayfinding signage
- Prepare files for production, write specifications and have daily contact with fabricators
- Work closely with the current senior graphic designers as well as junior/senior exhibit designers
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years design firm experience and implementation of interpretive exhibition graphics as well as environmental graphics, print graphics, corporate identity/branding, and way finding signage programs
- Ability to prepare files and specifications for production
- Excellent team communication skills
- Motivated, creative and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a variety of projects and multiple deadlines
- Possesses strong conceptual skills and has ability to execute design concepts through a variety of mediums
- Knowledgeable in fabrication techniques and standards of environmental graphic / exhibition design
- MA or BA in graphic design
- Must be proficient in standard graphic software including: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, (web applications a plus)
