An exciting new museum, Poster House, is taking shape in New York City. SKOLNICK is proud to have provided Interpretive Planning Services as the museum prepares to open in late 2018. Our services included visioning planning workshops with Poster House to identify the museum’s potential experience qualities, themes and topics, target audiences, and interpretive approaches.
SKOLNICK worked with LTL Architects on interior space programming and layout planning issues. Front-end evaluation was undertaken with a variety of potential stakeholders: collectors, dealers, educators, designers, and future visitors through on-line surveys, phone interviews, focus groups, and at the opening of the Poster House inaugural pop-up exhibit, “Gone Tomorrow”.
