SENIOR MARKETING COORDINATOR

SKOLNICK Architecture + Design Partnership, an award-winning, multidisciplinary design studio specializing in architecture, exhibit design, master planning, and communication design, is seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

The Senior Marketing Coordinator will provide support to the marketing team including the principals and marketing committee. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong proactive work ethic. Excellent writing skills are critical, along with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have a high degree of initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Knowledge of the A/E/C industry is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and forward incoming inquiries from potential clients and leads to appropriate marketing team members

  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and interviews with potential clients

  • Manage and review Google alerts for potential leads

  • Conduct and gather research for potential opportunities and present findings to Principals and management

  • Maintain status report of firmwide marketing activities

  • Work with Principals to create and execute the firm’s annual marketing plan

  • Organize, coordinate, and lead the preparation of proposals, including gathering internal and external materials from team members and consultants, writing, editing, and proofreading content, and working with graphics team on layout of final packages. Responsible for timely submission of proposals

  • Coordinate tradeshow and special firm events planning, logistics and follow up, working with Principals and management

  • Handle press inquiries and requests

  • Produce presentations, qualifications packages, and brochures with direction from Principals

  • Maintain company registrations

  • Regularly check local, state, and federal procurement sites for RFQ/Ps that are appropriate for pursuit

  • Maintain and update all collateral including firm information, project descriptions, brochures, case studies, portfolios, etc.

  • Track calendar of industry award programs, media kits for ads and editorials; produce submissions for awards

  • Make updates to website on SquareSpace

  • Create and disseminate regular firm e-newsletters and bulletins through ActiveCampaign

  • Manage contact database in ActiveCampaign; acquire and manage prospect lists

  • Maintain brand standards in all public-facing materials

  • Manage online presence, including social media calendar and develop content for posts with assistance from graphics team liaison.

  • Coordinate professional photography of projects, assisting with photoshoots as needed, and managing photography contracts, compliance with rights and usage clauses

  • Maintain relationships with specialized consultants in the architecture, engineering, and exhibitions industries, including coordination of teaming for project pursuits and regular follow-up for potential project leads

Capabilities/Skills:

  • Working knowledge of A/E/C terminology and project delivery methods

  • Understanding of basic marketing principles

  • Comprehensive understanding of the firm’s practice, philosophy, clientele, goals, policies, and procedures

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Strong writing skills

  • Good oral communications skills

  • Attention to detail and quality of work (including proofreading ability)

  • Ability to work well with various types of personalities and work styles

  • Software requirements:

    • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

    • Adobe Suite (Reader, Photoshop, and InDesign a must; Illustrator and Premiere or Rush a plus, but not required)

    • Social media: Later, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  • Strong interest in participating in professional development and industry organizations such as SMPS, AIA, others.

Educational Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field with 3-5 years of experience

  • Without a degree, 4-6 years of relevant A/E/C experience

SKOLNICK is committed to recruiting, hiring, and retaining people with diverse backgrounds, talents, and abilities. 

Our office currently maintains a hybrid remote work protocol that allows staff to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and in-office Tuesdays through Thursdays. Staff may choose to work in the office four of five days per week but are expected to adhere to the minimum of being in office Tuesday through Thursday each week.
