Biography
Carlos Hernandez brings a diverse background in design to his role as Architect and Exhibit Designer at SKOLNICK. He collaborates with the Skolnick team and our design partners to develop creative design solutions, craft presentation materials, and document projects. Carlos works across a variety of 2D and 3D programs to realize a wide range of project types.
Before moving to New York to pursue a graduate degree in exhibition design, Carlos spent nearly a decade working on cultural, institutional, residential, and sustainable design projects across the state of Alabama. Professionally, these projects include the Gulf State Park Interpretive Center, which is the first International Living Future Institute (ILFI) Certified Petal building in Alabama. He also volunteered his time designing a community garden in Birmingham and serving on its operating committee, as well as assisting the Alabama Center for Architecture in preparing and installing a variety of temporary exhibits.
