Biography

As an Intermediate Architectural Designer at SKOLNICK, Daniela helps to prepare designs, complete construction documents, write up building plans, and assist in the presentation of materials. Having worked in Peru as a licensed architect since 2017, Daniela comes to SKOLNICK with five years of experience leading a design team, supervising construction, and working collaboratively in all stages of the development of architectural projects. She is particularly interested in architecture that is connected to culture, environment and politics, and in design narratives that relate to people.

At SKOLNICK, Daniela is currently working on a variety of projects including a historic Brooklyn Heights apartment renovation...

Daniela is the author of the article “Debunking Participatory Design in Latin America” published in PATIO MAGAZINE in July 2022. She is also fluent in Spanish, Italian, and English.
