Architectural Designer
Biography
Kathleen Collins brings her strong foundation in residential and mixed-use design to her role as an architectural designer at SKOLNICK Architecture. She holds a Bachelor of Architectural Science from Toronto Metropolitan University and has built a diverse portfolio across Toronto, London (Ontario), and New York. Kathleen brings a comprehensive approach to her work, with experience spanning schematic design through construction administration, and a particular strength in coordinating complex drawing sets with multidisciplinary teams.
Throughout her career, Kathleen has worked on a wide range of projects including single-family homes, mid- and high-rise residential developments, and institutional spaces. She has led zoning and permit submissions, navigated municipal approval processes, and worked closely with clients to refine high-end interior finishes and custom millwork. At SKOLNICK, she also contributed to the IVDU Special Education Boys School project, further expanding her experience in educational design.
Known for her attention to detail and ability to manage projects from concept to completion, she also contributes to team development through training and process improvement initiatives. Her professional projects include residences in Toronto, New Jersey, New York City and Long Island.
