SYBIL LAMARQUE
Architectural Designer

Biography

Sybil Lamarque’s journey in architecture has been fueled by a passion for the arts, communities, spaces, and outstanding design. Her eagerness to learn and remain teachable has been a driving force throughout her career and has given her the opportunity to specialize in a wide range of project types including retail, corporate interiors, residential, healthcare, education, and façade restorations.

In her role as Architectural Designer at SKOLNICK, Sybil collaborates with the design team, consultants, and clients in the development of design concepts and technical solutions. She produces project documentation and visual representations for various architectural projects, ensuring that presentation materials tell the story of the specific project. Sybil also ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of drawings and design solutions developed by the project team. Utilizing Revit, a Building Information Modeler, she produces virtual 3-dimensional drawings allowing clients to see representations of the design throughout the life of project, track costs during the design process, and ensure a more complete set of construction drawings thus preventing many costly changes during construction that could lead to delayed schedules.

Through her prior work as an assistant project manager in retail design, Sybil recognizes the powerful impact of immersive, experiential design on diverse audiences and customers. Sybil helped develop and design the storefront façades and layouts and oversee code compliance and coordination for a number of retail venues, including Cotton On, North Face, Victoria Secret, V&M, and Target.
