POLY PREP COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL

Brooklyn, NY

To support Poly Prep Country Day School’s fundraising initiatives, SKOLNICK developed studies and vision renderings to illustrate the school’s strategic plans for a major renovation and expansion project. The concept designs balanced approaches for preserving school traditions while also encouraging strides forward. They included a renovated Commons that incorporates elements of existing architecture, a new Arts Department and Theater that raises the current arts department into natural light from its underground location, and a new pool complex insulated by a green roof to compensate for greenery losses due to other expansion efforts.

IDENTITY DESIGN

SKOLNICK also designed a primary identity for the school as well as secondary identities for the lower, middle, and upper schools. The identity standards manual provided detailed guidelines for its usage on various applications, including letterhead, print, and media collateral. Additionally, we produced numerous collateral pieces for the school such as invitations, announcements, a fundraising brochure, and presentation templates.
